BarPatola is India’s first neighbourhood bar dedicated to only women seven days a week. It not only aims to light up your evenings, with choicest drinks, bright ambience, personable staff and sumptuous food but also provides a safe, accessible and super enjoyable experience for female patrons.

This quick service super-bar is an extension of BarShala, a fun & affordable chain of neighbourhood bars.

The task at hand, was to create an identity synonymous with  BarShala such that it should be reminiscent of the parent brand. At the same time, the branding was required to be overtly feminine and quirky.

The logo created for BarPatola was hand lettered in a calligraphic style. Though 'BAR' was kept constant from BarShala's logo, the idea was to letter 'Patola' in a fashion similar to that of 'Shala'.

Since the brand was targeted at women, the stereotypical pink was used as the primary colour to make the identity obviously feminine. The entire mix of bright contrasting colours was used to depict fun & quirk through the identity.

The bar was opened on Women's Day and the launch was marked on social media through a creative which suggested the idea of women being celebrated every single day of the year. BarPatola's mascot, 'Miss Patola' was used to showcase liberated women celebrating & having fun in their very own style.
